This wonderfully illustrated book tells the sweet story of how the main character, Meesha comes to make friends in the most unexpected way. Having always struggled with knowing what to say and do and when to say/ do it, Meesha finds herself with many new friends when she least expects to, just by being herself and sharing her natural gifts with others. In the process, Meesha also learns that part of making friends, is taking a chance on others.
This book would make a great addition to conversations around building friendships. For both those children who are naturals at amassing friends and for those who find it a little challenging, it can be a helpful reminder about the importance of taking a chance on others and being yourself for making friends.
